Our Story

Saf means ‘pure’ in Turkish.

We produce natural towels, which are made from 100% Turkish cotton. They are hand-woven by some of the last remaining artisans in Anatolia. These ‘masters’ have passed down their skills – over generations – and they continue to perfect their art.

You will enjoy the comfort, quality, and warmth that our Saf collection provides.

You can find many beautiful towels throughout museums in Anatolia. Why should they be only in museums though? The artisans who descend from the original creators can still make them for you.

The process of making them is amazing: winding the warp, hand-spinning, and then weaving.

Saf is here to bring Antatolia’s craftsmanship and heritage to you! Our collection is hand-made by the last remaining artisans in the traditional way. This takes time but you will enjoy their warmth and comfort.
